Caught the worm yet?

Many people have already secured their spot for the Big Stuff 2025 Conference by now, but if you haven’t yet, we’ve got good news. The early bird rate has been extended until July 31. So even the not-so-early birds still have a chance to catch that tasty worm. And don’t forget: the Perth hub also offers an early bird rate, so make sure to register in time!

Need a little extra motivation to complete your registration? Early July, all registered participants will have the opportunity to create their own personalized program. While the conference mornings in Ghent feature a fixed program of lectures, poster sessions, and debates, the afternoons are reserved for excursions, giving you the freedom to tailor your own itinerary.

Each day you can choose between two fantastic field trips. (And trust us, we’ve visited and approved every location ourselves.) Curious to explore a former cardb

oard factory or see a steam engine in action? Prefer to visit an educational sailing ship and a lifeboat restoration project, or explore the Atlantikwall at the shore? Want to witness a brick yard’s clay breaker up close, or ride a steam train? And what about the ships and cranes at the Antwerp docks?

Of course, we won’t just visit these locations, there will also be ample opportunity to engage with each site’s staff and volunteers about how they care for their ‘Big Stuff’. Register by July 8 to get first pick!
